ABOUT THE BELLY DANCE SHOWCASES

The showcases include dancers who perform at various other venues around San Diego County. The showcases also provide a unique opportunity for performance for new dancers and dancers returning to the art.

Producer Loretta transforms the space into an exotic atmosphere with veils, LED candles, and a sparkly gold backdrop. The gold backdrop is ideal for photos and videos.  The dancers perform with a variety of props including veils, swords, zills, and canes.

There is no cover, and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the enchantment of the music, the colorful and exotic movement of the dancers, and the friendly environment.

The dancers who perform in these showcases do it for the love of dance! The performers receive complimentary food and wine from the venue, and they share tips. It is important to show the dancers that you love them! There is a handy-dandy “love” jar and Venmo, for those who say they don’t carry cash. Audience members may also slip a dollar bill into a dancer’s strap or into a glove. It’s all in fun and the dancers enjoy the show of appreciation.
